SCIENCE EXHIBITION (D.P.S)

Our Discovery public school organized a science exhibition on the 17th of December, 2022. The exhibition was spread over 10Am to 3Pm and had a number of students and teachers participated and collaborated hand in hand to make the event successful.

The science fair was named as “Discovery of India” . This exhibition was open to students from other schools as well as their parents. The schools were given authority to all gaurdians to visit.

The event started at 10 am and continued till 3 pm. The judging panel for the two halves were different. They had to judge the participants that put up their display and give ratings to them.

On the 17th of December, 2022 the event was inaugurated by D.P.S Team . The event started by the Principal by giving a warm welcome speech and requested the chief guest to assist him in lighting the lamp.

Students learn science—and use critical and creative thinking—by doing science. Rather than focusing on memorizing facts, they are engaged in application in which they apply content knowledge to real-world situations. This requires us to be risk-takers who are both courageous and creative in our teaching approaches.

OBJECTIVES

To promote interest in science and technology. Engages students in learning new facts and inventions with a zeal of interest. Explore the creative talent of the students and force them to think outside of the box.

Critical Thinking is fostered in science classrooms: By opportunities to engage students in critique, argumentation, and questioning. These, not only help build students’ understanding of science, but also develop their ability to reason scientifically.
